Mark’s Business Career
Mark began his business journey in June 1981 when he joined Price Waterhouse and successfully became a Chartered Accountant CA(SA). In 1989, he took a bold step and founded “Finmatrix,” a management consulting company that specialized in providing customized spreadsheet solutions using Lotus 123.
In 1994, Mark recognized the potential of Microsoft’s Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) and swiftly adapted, developing spreadsheet solutions using Excel 5. His expertise in this domain earned him the distinction of becoming a Certified Microsoft Professional (MCP) in Excel VBA in 1997, followed by another certification in Microsoft Visual Basic in 1999.
Mark’s dedication to professional growth did not stop there. In 2012, he accomplished the prestigious qualification of becoming a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®). Throughout his illustrious career, Mark has been focused on the development and management of the Accmatrix/Excel Accounting programs.
As a seasoned consultant and developer, Mark has provided valuable guidance to numerous companies and individuals on various aspects of accounting, financial management, and wealth creation. Moreover, he has created more than 100 specialized spreadsheet programs catering to the needs of over 50 different companies. Considering the widespread adoption of these programs, Mark estimates that they are utilized daily by over 200 users worldwide.

- Carol is a qualified Business Accountant (SA) with S.A.I.B.A and a registered Tax Practitioner with SARS. She has over 40 years of experience & owned her own business since 1983.
- Since 1995 Carol has engaged with over 60 business entity’s, directors and employees as a financial manager and accounting officer.
- She has conducted full accounting, Audit preparation, managed, trained, completed SARS audits, verifications and maintained SARS compliance.
- The different types of companies are vast, such as Hospitality, Logistics, Manufacturers, Export, Forex, Property, Body Corporates, Motor Industry, Legal & Professional services.
- Since 2007 she has focused on expanding the services provided in her accounting practice due to being focused on 2 points:
- Upskilling herself as a life coach to include her passion as a Financial Life Coach to serve her clients better in the world of everchanging compliance and legal obligations.
- Incorporating The ‘Accmatrix’ Excel accounting programme, developing the utilisation and training of the programme for the last 16 years.
- Carol is passionate about assisting her clients to learn basic financial savvy, to enable them to focus on their business, knowing they are compliant with all their financial obligations.

Jackie’s Business Career
- Jackie began her Banking Career in June 1994 and learnt the value of financial literacy. This enabled her to guide her clients to a better understanding in the world of finance.
In 2007 she went onto Manage business accounts which consisted of a wide variety of industries. - After receiving her banking certificate, she took the next step by completing her B. Compt Management Accounting degree through Unisa.
- As a Relationship Manager & a registered FAIS representative Jackie managed over 500 business clients with financial instruments, including Investments Loans & Borrowings as well as accounting information & Tax – Source documents.
- Due to the strict rules and banking regulations, there were continuous developments, training, and updates.
This enabled Jackie to become an expert in company compliance inclusive of FICA, AML and a FAIS as well as being in a supervisory position in the bank, which included coaching and upskilling. - Due to Jackie’s Qualifications & experience of 30 years she is now in a unique position to further her career by partnering with Accnetix Accounting Practice as a director and is passionate about adding value and financial growth to the business community.
